Produced entirely from Arbequina variety olives grown within the Siurana region in the Catalan province of Tarragona in northeast Spain . Local farmers hand pick Arbequina olives in November while still a little green. The fresh fruit is rushed to local presses and cold pressed within 24 hours. Centuries of tradition, modern technology and the constraints of the P.D.O. Siurana council guarantee the consumer that UNIO extra virgin olive oil is always low in acidity and smooth on the palate with rich fruity olive flavor and tremendous character.
